September 16 Marcovia Eye Team

Today we were able to perform eye exams on 89 people in Marcovia. Marcovia is a very poor area of Honduras which was totally destroyed in Hurricane Mitch and the area constantly floods with the slightest rains. We identified 13 cataract patients and they will receive free surgeries in the coming weeks.

The eye brigade took place in the Mayor's office and at the same time the eye team was going on, Jose Benavides was putting together 40 wheelchairs to give to people who are disabled.

A huge THANK YOU to the Martin family for their generous donation to help make this team possible. God Bless You!!

Below are some of the photos of the people who received eye exams today. Gracias Victor Montoya, Rolando and COVA for all your help.
