May 27, 2011 People Pictures

Every time I go out the door, I have my camera with me.  I love to take photos of people, mostly kids and old people.  I even like to take photos of feet.

Yesterday while out in some rural villages, I took some such photos... Would you like to see?

May 26, 2011 Delivering Wheelchairs To Curaren, Reitoca and Alubaren

On the way to the end of the world...

Three plus hours over dirt roads with huge potholes...

Look at the road winding up the mountain on the other side.

Stopping to stretch our legs and eat a quick sandwich.

May 15, 2011 A Trip To Ojojona

I found this door on my trip to Ojojona today...
The construction is interesting...

And after the door was finally opened...
Look what we found inside..
A leather shop with...
A hand made saddle...

May 5, 2011 Eye Clinic In San Isidro, Tegucigalpa

Finding out what she needs...

Waiting in line...

Free glasses for those in need...

Joshua returns to his old neighborhood and shares his life changes.  Some of the older ladies cried listening to him.

I thought the dog came for an eye exam, but he promptly went to sleep...

Victor Montoya patiently gave eye exams to every one who came...

Rolando does part of the eye exams...

Isn't he cute?

Proud of his new glasses!

Proud of her new glasses also!

This man couldn't get down the street in his wheelchair... so the guys carried him...

New glasses!

New glasses!

What an interesting face!

Another interesting face...

Joshua shares about his life of crime and his New Life...

Because many people knew him "before" they listened intently as Joshua asked for forgiveness in case he had ever harmed them or their families...

Thanks to ZOE Clinic and to other unnamed people who helped with the eye brigade...
