February 9, 2011 Santa Ana Eye Clinic

Several weeks ago my friends Michael and Lynn Martin and Alan and Julie Lawson introduced me to their friend Janet. Janet and I found that we have a kindred spirit. We both love to help people...

So we scheduled an Eye Team in Santa Ana... and today was the day!

February 3-6, 2011 Juticalpa, Honduras ENT Team

When ENT doctors volunteer to come to Honduras and perform surgeries, it is "potluck" as to what kind of ENT surgeries they will perform.

Sometimes it is tonsils...on little kids

Sometimes they are scared...

Sometimes it is a deviated septum...

Which is a yucky job...

But then they are so appreciative afterwards...

Every time I am privileged to give away a wheelchair I am blessed by how important it is to the recipients! This lady got all dressed up with earrings and all!

It is not very often when I am able to take the time to really enjoy dinner with friends, but tonight was one of those rare occasions. Friends came in from San Pedro Sula to visit.
