February 2 2010 Cataract Surgeries

If you remember a few weeks ago I was in Danli, El Paraiso and went to a small town called San Lorenzo to give away toys with my friend Jeannie Loving. Well, it seems some of the children were in the mountains picking coffee and were unable to attend the toy giveaway.


But, Jeannie to the rescue! As soon as she found out, she went to share some toys with them also.

BLOG after BLOG I talk about the eye teams and how we are looking for cataract patients in order to perform free surgery on them. Well today three surgeries were performed on two of the patients we found in San Lorenzo and one which we found in Ojo de Agua several months ago. The lady in the middle is the daughter of one of the patients and she helped lead them all around until after the surgeries, when they could SEE!


They were blind, but now they see! God is so good! I am so thankful to be able to able to help them.
