May 31, 2010 Picking Up Cornmeal To Be Given To Flood Victims

Thanks to Ernie and Robyn Breaux for their donation of another 1,800 pounds of cornmeal. Thank you to Free the Oppressed Ministries for their manpower to help us fill 300 plastic bags with cornmeal.

May 30, 2010 Sinsente, Ocotopeque Wheelchair Giveaway

It always amazes me how the people come to receive their new wheelchairs. This man came in and sat on the floor.

The guys from Tegucigalpa plus local volunteers took the chairs out of the boxes and put the chairs together.







































The mayor's wife came with homemade cheese and tortillas which all of us enjoyed.

Volunteer family members help put the chairs together where we can give them to those in need...

Young and old work together for a common goal...

Before we were ready to give them away, this young man took possession...

And then this one took possession...

And then this one...

And then I turned around and she was in a chair too...

Understand it was not time to sit in them yet, but the people were so excited...

And scared that there might not be enough...

Everyone was all smiles...

Except for this little guy who was mad...

These smiles make all the hard work worth while...

Thank you to Jack DeLoss Taylor trust for the money which they send to us to pay for gasoline to go to the far corners of Honduras to give away wheelchairs.  This town was an 8 hour drive in hard rain and with terrible roads....

May 30, 2010 Preaching In Copan Ruins

I was invited by my friend Pastor Odeen Garcia to preach at his church in Ruinas de Copan...

Since I was the one taking the photos, there are no photos of me... Go figure...

Pastor Odeen facing the camera...   I taught on forgiveness and how we need to forgive others for all the wrongs which they do towards us... and by doing so, we release ourselves to receive the blessings of God.  when we forgive, God also forgives us.
